3M Protecta Double Elastic Lanyard

The 3M Protecta elastic Y fall arrest lanyard is a double, elastic polyester fall arrest lanyard. The lanyards are available in 1.5 m and 2.0 m versions, with or without a carabiner for attachment to the harness.

The fall arrestor tears in phases during a fall and is designed to limit the forces on your body to a maximum of 6 kN; this is the impact that a human body can withstand for a short period of time without serious or permanent injury.
