3M DBI Sala Rollgliss R550

The 3M DBI Sala Rollgliss R550 has been specially developed for evacuation in emergency situations. The Rollgliss R550 ensures a fully automatic and controlled descent. The two integrated hooks at the beginning and end of the line make it possible to perform multiple rescues in succession.

The Rollgliss R550 from DBI Sala is equipped with a lifting function (using a wheel) that allows the victim to be hoisted up so that he/she can then be released from the safety line. The victim can then be lowered in a controlled manner. This type of rescue can be carried out either remotely (pick-off rescue principle) or in an 'active' manner, with the rescuer accompanying the descent.

The Rollgliss R550 from DBI-SALA comes with a 9.5 mm kernmantle rope. Thanks to this thin rope, this evaluation set remains compact. This set is available in various standard lengths of 30-60-100-120-150 metres. Other lengths are available on request, please contact us for more information.

The main features of the DBI-SALA Rollgliss R550 are:

• Descent speed for one person: 0.6 to 0.9 m/sec.

• On request, the Rollgliss R550 can be supplied in a special moisture-resistant case. This means that the set (if sealed) does not have to be sent for inspection every year, which saves costs and often has logistical advantages
• If desired, you can purchase a drill yourself to facilitate and speed up hoisting (minimum torque 45 Nm. Minimum rotation speed: 0-300 rpm).
• Comes standard with a sturdy transport bag.
• Certified in accordance with: EN 341:1992 & EN 1496: 2006
