The 3M Protecta Rollgliss Bimatic has been specially developed to descend safely and at a controlled speed, without the need for (complicated) fall protection systems.
The Bimatic is equipped with an 8 mm line (textile) with a 4 mm galvanised steel core cable. Thanks to this thin line, this evacuation device remains compact, lightweight yet robust and strong.
The line is available in different lengths ranging from 5 m to a maximum of 100 m.
The most important features of the 3M Protecta Rollgliss Bimatic are:
- Suitable for one person (max. 136 kg)
- Controlled descent speed of 1 metre per second (system automatically adjusts to the user's weight)
- Both ends are equipped with a rescue strap
- Stainless steel housing
- Thanks to the double-sided design, it is possible to perform multiple rescues in succession
- Certified in accordance with: EN 341
