The FTC Tree Mini Cylindre HR 2.1 is a compact friction device designed for professional rigging in arboriculture. Its all‑aluminium construction minimises heat build‑up and prevents rigging ropes from melting, while the rope guides and rubber silent blocks provide precise load control, stability and reliable protection of the tree trunk.
Controlled friction without overheating
Built entirely from aluminium, the Mini Cylindre HR 2.1 dissipates heat efficiently and prevents rope glazing or burning during intensive stem and limb removals. The 100 mm cylinder diameter offers a generous friction surface, enabling accurate control of heavier sections with minimal effort for the rigging crew.
Efficient rope management and dual-side operation
The rounded upper ring allows smooth reeving of the rope. Two guides at the end of the cylinder prevent wraps from slipping off or overlapping. A third guide underneath the cylinder enables finer and more precise adjustment of friction. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the ground crew can work on either the left or right side of the stem without any loss of functionality.
Trunk protection and stability under load
Six rubber silent blocks stabilise the device under load and protect the bark from damage. The 9 m strap allows installation on trees up to 2 m in diameter, making the device suitable for a wide range of rigging scenarios in tree work.
Complete, transport-ready system
The MINI-CYLINDRE 2.1 is supplied with its ratchet strap and dedicated transport box. This keeps the unit protected during transport and storage and ensures it is ready for rapid deployment on site.
