FTC Tree Rollotube 2

The FTC Tree Rollotube 2 is a compact tool designed for controlled lowering and removal of trunk sections during tree dismantling. The device is inserted into the cut behind the chainsaw bar to prevent it from jamming and allows cut sections to be rolled off the stem in a controlled manner. Thanks to the integrated retractable tether with carabiner, the Rollotube 2 can be attached directly to a harness, keeping the tool readily accessible during climbing and rigging operations.

More efficient removal of trunk sections
The Rollotube 2 is placed into the cut behind the chainsaw, preventing the bar from becoming stuck when cutting trunk sections. Once the cut is complete, the section can be simply rolled along the rod, supporting more controlled and efficient work during topping down and sectional felling.

Integrated retractable tether with carabiner
The Rollotube 2 features an integrated retractable tether rated up to 200 g. The nylon and Dyneema line provides an effective length of approximately 102 cm and is supplied with a carabiner, allowing direct attachment to a harness. This keeps the Rollotube 2 close at hand and reduces the risk of losing equipment in the tree or on site.

Replaceable components for professional use
For long-term professional use, both the retractable tether (adjuster) and the yellow rod are available separately as spare parts. Wear parts can be replaced without having to purchase a complete new unit, improving uptime and cost-efficiency for professional arborist and rigging work.
