The Harken Snatchet (Ratcheting) is a compact ratcheting pulley designed for professional safety, rescue and rope access applications. The unit combines an integrated carabiner with a large-diameter sheave and ratchet mechanism, making it suitable for controlled hauling and pulley systems with ropes up to 14 mm. With a breaking load of 38 kN and a maximum working load of 10 kN, the Snatchet complies with EN 362:2004/M and ANSI Z359.12-2019.
Rope engagement without disconnecting the anchor point
The Snatchet allows the rope to be engaged without disconnecting the anchor point or connection. This speeds up system setup or adjustment and reduces the risk of errors during critical manoeuvres.
Ratchet with high holding power and reduced friction
The large sheave diameter minimises friction and rope wear, while the faceted ratchet sheave provides up to 15 times the holding power of a round sheave. The ratchet function can be switched on or off under load, enabling precise control when lifting, repositioning or stabilising loads and persons.
