The Ikar DB-A3 tripod is a lightweight aluminium tripod that is adjustable in height and width. The system is quick and easy to install and can then be used above a manhole with a maximum diameter of 218 cm. The tripod has three certified anchor points, three integrated pulleys and has been tested for a maximum of two persons.
Different angle positions
The height-adjustable legs can be folded out into three different angle positions. This allows you to set not only the desired height but also the angle of the legs.
Built-in pulley system
Three pulleys are integrated into the top of the tripod, which function as a deflection point. This reduces friction when using a winch or fall arrester and no working height is lost below the suspension point. This provides more space to hoist a person or victim out of a manhole, for example.
Working height
The maximum working height of the DB-A3 is 219 cm, and the maximum length of the complete tripod is 254 cm. These dimensions make it highly suitable for applications above confined spaces. The tripod has also been tested and certified for use without additional webbing or chains.
