The ISC Reflex V2 is a mechanical rope adjustment device for professional arborists, suitable for stationary rope systems (SRT) and moving rope systems (MRT). It combines the feel of a friction hitch with mechanical friction control and can be attached at any point along the rope without threading a rope end through the device. The Reflex V2 is certified to EN 12841:2024 Type C for use with 11–13 mm EN 1891 Type A ropes.
Improved wear distribution and rope grip
The upper links are longer and feature additional material and a larger wear radius at the rope contact surfaces. This increases the torque with which the links engage the rope and transfers a greater share of friction to the lower links. According to ISC’s comparative wear tests, these changes extend service life compared with the original Reflex. Two springs increase the top link’s range of rotation whilst maintaining the familiar spring resistance.
Openable construction and easier maintenance
The openable construction simplifies installation, removal and changes between rope systems. The replaceable swivel-eye can be fitted directly to the rope bridge for a short connection without a carabiner. A redesigned top axle with a cleaning hole makes cleaning and lubrication easier. The reinforced top plate offers greater resistance to accidental bending and damage during everyday handling.
