The Rock Exotica Akimbo is a climbing device specially designed for tree care. The various adjustment options allow you to vary the amount of friction to suit different situations/preferences.
Multiple applications
The Akimbo is suitable for ascending, descending and positioning on both SRT and DRT systems. It is also possible to install the Akimbo on your climbing rope during use.
Specifications:
- Suitable for selected EN 1891 type A semi-static kernmantle ropes from 11.5 mm to 13 mm
- Maximum working load: 100 kg or 130 kg (depending on rope choice)
- Can be installed on the rope in the interim
- For SRT and DRT systems/techniques
