Skylotec Raptor C

The Skylotec Raptor C is a self-retracting fall arrester with galvanised steel cable, available in 6 m, 10 m and 20 m versions. It is designed for professional work at height and depth, for example on masts and towers. Its modular construction enables efficient maintenance, while two external fall indicators, edge approval and certification to EN 360:2002 and RFU PPE-R/11.060 ensure a high level of safety and a maximum service life of 20 years.

Modular fall arrester with reduced maintenance costs
The Raptor C features a modular design, allowing individual components to be replaced. This reduces inspection times and lowers maintenance and inspection costs, making the device suitable for intensive use in rope access, telecommunications, construction and industrial applications.

Energy-absorbing inlet damper protecting device and user
An energy-absorbing inlet damper protects the housing and internal mechanics from repeated impacts when the steel cable retracts. This limits wear and reduces the risk of hand injuries when handling the cable, contributing to safer and more ergonomic work.

Two clearly visible fall indicators for quick checks
The Raptor C is equipped with two fall indicators that are visible from the outside. After a fall event, a red indicator shows that the device must be inspected. This prevents unintentional use of a non-operational fall arrester and streamlines the mandatory annual inspection.

Variants for vertical and horizontal edge applications
The Raptor C is edge approved and, thanks to its flexible marking, can be used for both vertical (up to 140 kg) and horizontal (up to 100 kg) applications over edges. The available cable lengths of 6 m, 10 m and 20 m provide options for different working heights and anchorage distances on masts, towers and industrial structures.
