Strep Edge Sleeve

The Strep Edge Sleeve is a robust, multi-layer edge protector designed for professional users who need to protect ropes and lines from sharp or abrasive edges. The combination of a highly abrasion-resistant outer layer and a high-visibility inner layer makes the Edge Sleeve suitable for rope access, industrial environments and rescue operations, where monitoring wear and equipment condition is critical. For localised edge protection, approximately 30 cm hi-viz and 30 cm black versions are available.

Multi-layer protection with wear indicator
The Edge Sleeve is built from several layers, featuring an outer sheath made from a specially developed abrasion-resistant black nylon weave and an inner layer of yellow ballistic nylon. The yellow layer acts as a clear wear indicator: once it becomes visible, the sleeve should be taken out of service and replaced.

ShoreGrip® for stable positioning on the rope
On the inside, the proprietary ShoreGrip® material provides additional grip on the rope. This keeps the Edge Sleeve in position without the need for separate anchoring with accessory cord. This increases setup efficiency and reduces the risk of the protector unintentionally moving along the rope.
