The Xmonster Pangolin Rope Defender Pro Mat is a lightweight portable mat for rope protection in professional applications such as rope access, rescue and technical work on rocky or abrasive surfaces. The mat is designed to protect rope at critical contact points, especially around sharp corners and rough edges.
Dual-surface design for controlled positioning
One side has a low friction coefficient for unobstructed rope passage, while the other provides higher friction to help keep the mat in place. This makes the mat suitable where both rope guidance and stable positioning are important.
Wear monitoring and visibility in use
Specialised stitching enhances the surface curvature and improves rope protection around sharp rock corners. The inner layer features a red wear indicator that provides a clear visual warning when the material is worn. Bright colours and a 3M reflective strip improve visibility during use.
