The Kong HMS Napik RISE Lock™ is a compact aluminium alloy HMS carabiner designed for belaying with a clove hitch and for use in anchoring and belay systems. This model combines a wide pear-shaped form with an automatic RISE Lock™ sleeve and a Keylock closure. The carabiner is certified to EN 362/B, EN 12275/H and UIAA, entirely developed and manufactured in Italy, and tested piece by piece.
RISE Lock™ locking system
The patented RISE™ (Right Sequence) locking system opens in two movements in the correct order: first rotate the sleeve and then open the gate. This significantly reduces the risk of accidental opening, for example through rope contact or when the gate is pressed against an edge.
Compact HMS design
This model is more compact and lighter than a traditional HMS connector while offering a higher breaking load. Its wide pear-shaped form makes the carabiner suitable for belaying with a clove hitch and for use in a range of anchoring and belay configurations.
