The Petzl Ring Open is a multi-directional ring that can be opened and used, for example, to connect additional lifelines/cowtails to the harness.
The Petzl Open Ring is also used to connect a safety line to a fall arrest device and the anchorage (e.g. when using Petzl Asap).
Because the closure of the Petzl Open Ring can only be opened and/or closed with an Allen key, this connection is considered a semi-permanent connection.
Specifications:
- Thanks to the wide opening, lifelines/cowtails with sewn rope ends can also be easily attached to the Petzl Open Ring.
- Ring can be loaded in all directions
