The ABS Lock Wave 100 is a stainless-steel anchor point with a corrugated aluminium base plate for corrugated and other profiled sheet roofs. The anchor point can be used as a single anchorage point and as an end, corner or intermediate support in a wire-rope lifeline system in accordance with EN 795:2012 type A and CEN/TS 16415:2013, and is designed for professional use on flat, pitched and profiled roofs with a timber substructure.
Special corrugated base for profiled sheet roofs
The corrugated aluminium base plate matches the profile of corrugated and other profiled sheet roofs. This improves load distribution across the roof and helps to preserve the integrity of the roof covering.
Simple installation on a single timber rafter
The ABS Lock Wave 100 is fixed directly to a single timber rafter (minimum 100 x 120 mm) using just two screws. This simplifies installation, minimises intervention in the roof structure and allows for fast fitting on site.
Tested for edge falls and falls through the roof surface
The anchor has been tested not only for loads resulting from a fall over the roof edge, but also for fall-through loads through the roof covering close to the anchor point. This is particularly relevant on fragile corrugated roofs.
Usable as a single anchor point and as part of a cable system
The ABS Lock Wave 100 can be used as an individual anchor point for personal fall protection and as an intermediate, end or corner support in ABS-Lock SYS wire-rope systems. It is therefore suitable for both single anchorage applications and continuous lifeline installations.
